The Hands and Heart of the Mission

Bhu Sutra is an act of Seva (selfless service), performed by the Divine Doer through a human instrument.

  • The Doer: Bankey Bihari of Vrindavan

    The true doer and the soul of Bhu Sutra is Bankey Bihari. Every thread is woven by His will, and every sculpture is a manifestation of His divine play (Leela). He is the purpose and the power behind this mission.

  • The Instrument (Nimitt): Nitin

    As the 'First Employee' and instrument (Nimitt), my hands personally craft every BhuSutra sculpture for the mission He is running. Each sale brings us closer to our goal: training and bringing our first artisan home. All work is His.

  • The Heart (and Boss) of Operations: Divya

    Divya ensures every sculpture is perfect. How do I know? As her husband, let me tell you the real secret. For more than ten years, her greatest hobby has been finding what's wrong with everything I've done. So trust me, when it comes to quality control, nothing gets past her!
